However, Liberal AGs in California and New York have warned that the attracting of the Plug on Trans -Care Services would violate state laws.
In the Golden State, Attorney General Rob Bonta repeated the dedication of California to allow trans -young people, “to lead their lives as their authentic self.”
“I understand that the executive command of the president about gender -confirming care has created some confusion,” he said. “Let me be clear: the legislation in California has not changed and hospitals and clinics have a legal obligation to offer equal access to health care.”
He pointed to the recent decision of a judge who blocked Trump to defeat congress spending with which he does not agree.
Bonta also noted that the suspension of the gender that confirms care would be a violation of civil laws in California that prohibits discrimination because of sexual or gender identity.

Her instructions then came to various hospitals throughout the country that they paused gender -confirming care for young people in their service, including facilities in Washington DC, Los Angeles, Virginia and Colorado.
On Monday the White House said that the executive order has all its 'intended effect'.
In recent years, many states have taken steps to limit or ban transgender care for people under the age of 18 and most states have to deal with lawsuits.
Gender -confirming care can take the form of counseling, puberty blockers, hormone therapy or in some rare cases surgery.
