A vet has revealed the ten dog breeds she would never want to own, including the tiny dog that is stubborn and cheeky.
Saddy Baddy, a veterinarian for 10 years, shared her thoughts on all breeds, from the American Akita to the Dalmatian, and explained why she would never get a Keeshond or a Basset Hound.

The veterinarian posted a message on social media highlighting the breeds that are prone to health problems and the dogs that need a lot of training and socialization.
The veterinarian shared her candid thoughts, saying, “Dog breeds that I LOVE, but as a 10-year veterinary professional, I would not want to own.”
She explained: “These are MY personal opinions, based on MY personal experiences after working in the field for ten years.
“Everyone is entitled to their own opinion based on their own experiences. All dogs are good dogs in their own unique way.”
First, the vet explained that she would not get an American Akita because these dogs require a lot of training and socialization and are prone to same-sex aggression toward other animals.
She also described these dogs as “fearful” and “protective of their owners” and claimed that they can be “very powerful.”
Regarding dachshunds, the animal lover said she would never want to own one because of their “skeletal structures,” which she said “basically pose orthopedic problems.”
She also described the breed as “stubborn and sassy” and said they “can be little devils when it comes to grooming.”
As for Belgian Tervurens, the vet explained that they are known to be “possessive” of their owners and require plenty of daily challenges to meet their mental and physical needs.
In addition, they are prone to hip and elbow deformities and to epilepsy.
