You can now buy a piece of jewellery from Kate Middleton’s favourite jeweller for just £15

A lover of updating outfits she’s worn before, the Princess of Wales knows that jewelry is the secret to transforming a look.

Although she owns diamond-encrusted tiaras and other heirlooms, Kate42, proves that, like the rest of us, she has a preference for jewelry from this century – and from the high street.

In January 2020, Catherine visited the Ely and Caerau Children’s Centre in Cardiff.

We fell in love with Kate’s high street look wearing a long, double-breasted camel coat by Massimo Dutti (£349) and an animal print skirt from Zara (£30).

And over her black turtleneck, she wore a gold coin necklace engraved with the initials of her three children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis – along with three stars.

The necklace cost £1,070 at the time, so it wasn’t cheap, but she started a trend of making similar necklaces and has worn it a few times since.

As recently in her heartwarming video with Prince William and their children, in which she announced that she had completed her chemotherapy.

The Lincolnshire-born designer’s personalised necklace, made from 100 percent recycled solid gold and diamonds, isn’t her only favourite piece of jewellery.

After first wearing the necklace in 2020, William and Catherine were in Dublin in March, where Kate wore a pair of £385 Mini Cupid Hoop earrings from the same brand, which feature tiny shamrocks.

And on the same trip to the Emerald Isle she wore a Baby Shamrock Necklace, £325, also from Draper, which she has since re-worn on St Patrick’s Day.

She continued to wear the small hoops during Zoom meetings during the pandemic, but also opted to wear similar earrings, minus the shamrocks, when she made the devastating announcement that she was undergoing cancer treatment in March 2024.

Another piece from Kate’s favourite jewellery brand is the Alphabet Necklace, £300, again featuring the initials G, C and L for the young royals, but this time as charms attached to a simple gold chain.

She wore this in Scotland in 2021, when she and William visited Starbank Park in Edinburgh.

She also wore Drapers designs on many other occasions, including the filming of the couple’s 10th anniversary music video and one day at Wimbledon, making the dress a household name.

But while the princess’s jewelry comes with a hefty price tag, there’s now a DD design that’s more affordable.

The Silver Smiley Face Cord Bracelet with solid recycled silver charm comes in five different colours: orange, blue, lilac, turquoise and yellow. You can buy it for just £15.

Who inherited Princess Diana’s jewels?

AFTER her death, Diana’s sons Prince William and Prince Harry inherited three-quarters of her £21million fortune, while the other quarter went to her 17 godchildren.

In a special ‘letter of wishes’, Diana explained that she was leaving her jewels to the future wives of her sons.

The letter states: “I would like you to assign all my jewels to the inheritance of my sons, so that their wives may possess or use them in due time.

“I leave the exact distribution of the jewelry to you.”

Some of Diana’s most iconic jewels were loaned to her by the Royal Collection, while others were not part of her estate.
