A woman has revealed how she made her dream of travelling to Asia and Australia come true by turning £10 into £500 on eBay.
Savvy Sophie, 24, who lives in Durham, says she scours flea markets for bargains and then sells them on eBay for a profit.

And she didn’t need a large sum of money to get started, as she bought her first items with just £10.
Sophie, who works with children as a daycare worker, showed how she collected items such as trainers, PS3s and mugs to sell.
She then told her followers @sophfield told how she hoped to sell them for a profit.
For example, she put the £2 Vans trainers on eBay for £10 and the PS3 for £25 (for spares).
Sophie tells Fabulous: “I invest the money I earn each week, so I started with £10 and then earned £70.”
The money saver then reinvested the £70 in purchasing more items, thus making even more profit.
Normally she goes to flea markets every Sunday to find bargains and sell them on eBay.
Sophie has been keeping her followers updated on her progress and has just managed to goal from £500.
She admits she is now tempted to go ahead and invest that £500 in more shares so she can reach her target of £1,000.
Sophie added: “I’m saving to go on a trip next year for four to six months to Southeast Asia / Australia / New Zealand.
“You don’t need a lot of money to get started.
“You can start by selling your own stuff that you have at home and then invest that money.”
Sophie advised people looking to make more money to ‘just go for it’ and shared her top tips.
She explains: “Watch lots of videos on social media from other resellers to get ideas on the best things to buy.
