M&S fans are loving the ‘bloat-friendly’ trousers that cost just £17.50

FASHION fans have been busy snapping up ‘flattering’ M&S trousers that are perfect for days when you’re feeling bloated.

Over the years, high street retailer Marks & Spencer has improved its fashion trends considerably. Think a ‘gorgeous’ knock-off Ganni dress that’s £175 cheaper than the original, or a comfy pair of £12.50 pyjamas to keep you warm this season.

The popular store has also become the go-to store for many budget-conscious shoppers looking for affordable trousers, and the latest addition to the range is already a huge success.

Charli, a delighted mum of two, took to TikTok to rave about the M&S Jersey Wide Leg Trousers with Stretch which retail for under £20.

Posing with her handbag-friendly fall wardrobe, the gorgeous shopper claimed these were “the most comfortable” pants she’s ever worn.

”They have an elastic waistband, but they still look neat.

“I absolutely love it,” said Charli, who picked up a £17.50 bargain from their Petite range.

These panties are available in black, anthracite, dark blue and dark khaki. They are also available in three different lengths: short/petit, normal and long.

If you want to add these stylish and versatile trousers to your collection, you’ll have to be quick, as many sizes are already sold out online.

Charli showed off the trendy flared pants, which would look perfect with a fitted top and a slicked-back bun, noting that the elastic waist ensures they “don’t bunch up.”

The fashion-conscious mother was deeply impressed by the quality and fit, laughing and confessing that she would go back to the store to buy the other colors.

”They’re only £17.50, which for trousers like these from M&S is a bargain.

“Honestly, go get them – they are so, so beautiful. They fit great, they look great.”

As Charli herself noted, these pants are indeed versatile and can be worn both formally and informally, depending on the occasion and the look you’re going for.

For a more casual outfit, pair it with a simple pair of sneakers and a long-sleeved top, plus some jewelry and a bag.

Going on a date? Swap your sneakers for strappy heels, add some red lipstick and you’re good to go.

Why Everyone Loves M&S

Deputy fashion editor Abby McHale told Fabulous why M&S is the store of the moment. She explained:

“M&S has really done a great job this season, there are so many good products to be excited about.

“A brand once known for its ‘frumpy fashion’, although that idea has long since disappeared, it is now one of the leading high streets for women’s clothing.

“The handbag range in particular is super strong, with a 170% sales rate against plan, and many more designer dupes at a fraction of the price.

“The brand is also now #1 for style perceptions, up from #3 last year. This is due to a very strong design team that is focused on modernizing the brand, taking into account not only how the pieces look, but also how easy they are to wear.

“Price is also an important factor as you can get a lot of good quality pieces for under £30.

“Having given us a sneak peek at the upcoming collection, there are so many more amazing pieces to keep an eye out for in the coming months.

“Think leopard print dresses, colourful co-ords, embroidered boho jackets, plus lots of swimwear and great accessories, as well as great wardrobe pieces that will last year after year.”

Since I was on her page, the clip has been viewed almost 150,000 times in just two days. Dozens of people responded en masse to the comments.

A petite fashionista was also excited about the M&S find, writing: ”I just bought black. I’m 5’2″ and bought short. They look amazing and are so comfortable.”

Someone else joined in the conversation: “I have three black pairs, 1.62m tall and normal length.”

Another said: “I bought these pants for work.

”Sainsbury’s also has one with bags, for £18.”
