Magnitude 5.8 earthquake strikes one of Australia’s neighbours

An earthquake with a size 5.9 has turned one of the closest neighbors of Australia upside down.

The earthquake struck in Sumatra, in West Indonesia, at a depth of 10 km at 11.30 am local time on Friday.

There is no tsunami threat for Australia, the Bureau of Meteorology confirmed.
