I almost died when my boss pointed out my embarrassing email signature
A WOMAN has been left feeling deeply ashamed after discovering she has had an embarrassing email signature at the bottom of every email she has sent since she was 10.
Jessica Stahle was a huge fan of Justin Bieber as a child. When she first created an email address at age 10, she shared her love for the Baby singer with an email signature.
However, she had no idea the signature was still there until her boss pointed out many years later that it was at the bottom of all her emails.
“I just realized today that every email I’ve sent from my primary email address since I was 10 has the automatic signature, ‘I love Justin Bieber’s new haircut,’” she said in a video posted to TikTok.
“I only found out when my manager brought it up.
“Why didn’t anyone tell me this and how come it doesn’t show up when I write the emails?”

Jessica (@jessicastahle31)’s video went viral and quickly amassed over two million views, prompting her to create a second video to explain it in more detail.
In this video she explains that her manager actually reacted very positively to the signature. They thought it was “quirky” and “fun”.
However, Jessica said the embarrassment kept her up all night and she lost a lot of sleep over the hilarious blunder.
“I applied for countless jobs using that email address,” she said.
“That email address is my main means of contact with my extended family.”
She added that she had even registered at the university using that email address and was furious that no one had ever pointed out her signature.
She is now convinced that the signature could be the reason she has been turned down for jobs in the past.
“Consider this a reminder to double-check your Gmail settings and make sure your automatic signature is what you want,” she said.
TikTok users rushed to the comments of the video to share their thoughts on her blunder, with many sharing similarly hilarious stories.
Someone said: “I accidentally sent multiple work emails from my cat’s email account (he loves Instagram, lol)”
A second person said, “I can’t believe no one told you that!”
A third person said, “I would feel so disappointed by everyone around me if no one told me I was doing this lol.”
A fourth person added: “My email signature was Katie Bieber until one of my professors told me!”
