Perth rapist accused of drugging and sexually assaulting a dozen female victims he met on Tinder and Sugar Daddy Meet learns his fate
A 45-year-old father has been found guilty of 97 counts of sexual abuse after filming himself raping nine women and three teenagers. He is expected to spend decades behind bars.
Adam Charles Lusk was convicted on Thursday of 85 counts of sexual penetration without consent and 12 counts of intoxication with intent to commit an indictable offence in the Western Australian District Court in Perth.
He kept his face stiff as the jury delivered its verdict.
The court heard the FIFO civil engineer met his victims through social interactions or online via Sugar Daddy Meet, Tinder and Snapchat, over a period of almost two years.
The court heard the father lured his victims to his home in Ascot in the city’s east, where he drugged, raped and filmed them.
A jury found Lusk guilty after a grueling five-week trial that included several videos too graphic to be shown in open court.
He initially pleaded not guilty to 100 felonies, claiming that the women and teenagers had all consented to sex and that some pretended to be unconscious or lucid.
More than 80 of his violations were captured on video, with victims repeatedly telling Lusk “no” and pushing him away, with one pleading with him to “show mercy.”
Some of Lusk’s worst offenses were committed against a 16-year-old girl he met on Sugar Daddy Meet in 2020, The Western Australian reported.

At one point he filmed himself abusing the teenager, who was only semi-conscious.
When she begged him to stop, Lusk grabbed her arm behind her back and said, “Shhh.”
The other two minor victims were 17-year-old girls who were invited to Lusk’s home to “break up” after one of them met him through Snapchat.
They had started talking six months earlier, when the girl was 16.
Lusk filmed himself raping one of the girls. He was also accused of raping a third 17-year-old girl on the same night, but was acquitted of the charge.
Two charges of drugging women were also dropped.
Lusk admitted raping one of the women he filmed during the trial. The jury was shown footage of her being unconscious for 19 minutes.
In a rare instance, Judge Alan Troy instructed the jury to find Lusk guilty of repeatedly raping the woman, but to decide for themselves whether the victim was drugged.
Lusk claimed the woman had passed out from a sex game, but the jury found he had drugged her.

Six women were completely unconscious in the videos and two appeared “semi-disoriented.”
The court ruled that Lusk kept the videos he found “remarkable.”
When asked if the women had given consent to be filmed, Lusk said he was confident it was okay because he planned to share the footage with them.
The videos were never shared with the women. Lusk claims in several cases that he “never had the chance.”
An acquaintance of Lusk submitted a video of one of the rapes to police in May 2021.
However, officers were unable to charge Lusk because they could not identify the victim.
The acquaintance had confronted Lusk via text message at the time.
In a message, the person wrote: “She is drugged.”
Mr. Lusk replied, “No, she wasn’t. We were fucking all afternoon and then she ran off.”
‘…She loved to get drunk and fuck. She was totally drunk.’
After his arrest in January 2022, Lusk told police that the woman was acting out a fantasy they had discussed beforehand.
However, he later stated that he made the video to “tease” the woman for being “lazy” during sex.

Lusk was arrested after two women reported the incident to police, allowing officers to seize his electronic devices.
The woman in the video submitted in 2021 was found and stated that she could not remember anything about the night and that she had not had sex with Lusk.
She claimed that when she arrived at his home she was given what she thought was paracetamol because she had a headache.
Lusk will be sentenced on December 20.
