Kelsey Parker shares feelings of guilt since Tom’s death – as she speaks publicly with new man

KELSEY Parker opens up about the guilt she’s been dealing with since her husband Tom Parker died two years ago.

The mother of two recently spoke out about the guilt she has been dealing with since Wanted member Tom tragically passed away from brain cancer.

This came after the 33-year-old started dating her new love, Will, a tree surgeon, this week.

Speaking of the Made by moms podcast, Kelsey spoke candidly about the struggles she faces as a widow.

Kelsey and Tom have two children and admitted she felt guilty because the children were not growing up with their father.

She said she spent a lot of time with her children, Aurelia and Bodhi, adding: “I really make time because for me it’s a way to spend time with them because I feel like they’re missing out on certain things and I probably feel guilty about that.

“I think that is also a phase of mourning, where you feel guilty because Bodhi is playing football, playing with dolls with Aurelia, they missed their father and didn’t have moments with him.”

The last time she appeared on the show was four years ago, when Tom was undergoing his treatment. Kelsey says she “can’t remember” that time.

“I don’t remember anything about it, it was an out-of-body experience,” she recalls.

“I wouldn’t wish this on anyone, it’s so hard, but I have the children and they pulled me through.”

The couple were together for 13 years before he tragically passed away. Kelsey says losing the love of her life has made her a completely different person.

“I’ve always been a positive person, but I think it’s changed my perspective and outlook on life,” she added.

“I’m more of a ‘just do it’ type, because Tom clearly taught me that you only have one life.”

Kelsey, 33, recently revealed that she is “in a better place mentally” – and that she believes her new man Will was “sent” to her by the All Time Low hitmaker.

Kelsey recently opened up about why she took off her wedding ring.

She said it felt “really painful” to look down and see the bond she had received from her late husband, which led her to make this heartbreaking decision.

2020: The Parkers welcomed their second child, a son named Bodhi Thomas Parker, in October.

2021-2022: During Tom’s battle with cancer, Kelsey continued to support him and raise awareness about his condition.

2022: Tom Parker sadly passed away on March 30, 2022, after a courageous battle with brain cancer. Kelsey honored his memory with heartfelt tributes and continued to share their love story with the public.

Last weekend she officially spoke to the tree surgeon on Instagram.

Will has played a huge role in Kelsey’s life over the past few months.

“He recently helped her at a charity football match for Tom Parker and has attended other events with her.

“She has never made a secret of their romance and the couple looked very much in love at a gala last week.”
