Republican Congressman Mary Miller said that she 'refused to deny the biological reality' by addressing Sarah McBride as 'The Gentleman From Delaware' on the floor of the house Thursday.
McBride is the first transgender member of the congress and wins the large seat of Delaware in November.
Republicans have successfully tried to block her access to the toilet of the women in the Capitol.
Miller, a representative of Illinois, gave the introduction while McBride would give her first speech on the floor of the house.
“The chair recognizes the Lord from Delaware, Mr. McBride, for five minutes, “said Miller.
McBride did not answer Miller's words and only said 'Thank you, Mrs. Speaker' and continued with her prepared comments.
A colleague Democrat, Nanette Barragán of California, later tried to deliver a form of retaliation.
Barragán was the next one to talk on the floor after McBride and when Miller survived, she said, “Thank you, Mr. Speaker.”

Miller spoke the moment on social media later on Thursday.
“Today on the house floor I refused to deny the biological reality,” she wrote.
“President Trump restored the biological truth in the federal government and I refuse to perpetuate the lie that gender is open to our interpretation. It is not. '
On her own X account, McBride again did not refer to the introduction of Miller and instead focused on the content of the speech.
“I shared the fears of Delawareans in our state that worried about their job and the care and services in which they trust because of the unconstitutional efforts of this administration to abuse power and programs for the suffering of underphains and underphains,” McBride wrote.
Barragán still has to comment publicly on her own comments.
McBride was the first open transgender legislator ever chosen for the American congress, but its place in the room quickly pulled the anger of some conservatives after being sworn in in January.
Mace has repeatedly referred to McBride as 'a man', with colleague republican Marjorie Taylor Greene who continues by describing her as a predator and being accused of being 'mentally ill'.

McBride is forbidden to use the women's bathroom because of a rule put in place by speaker Mike Johnson who transgender people using single-sex bathrooms using single-sex.
Although she was told that she had to use the men's bathroom in the Capitol, McBride said that she was not shocked by the move.
She said that although she does not agree with Johnson's rule who hardens her from the women's bathroom, she is committed to following the rule and does not intend to break it.
“This attempt to distract from the real problems that this country is confronted has not distracted me in recent days, because I have remained hard at work to represent the greatest state in the Union in January,” she said at the time .
Senator John Fetterman from Pennsylvania was one of those who came to support McBride and at the time say: 'There is no task that I am afraid of losing if I require someone to relegate someone.
'If that is a determining issue for a voter, there will be another candidate. We have a bathroom in my office that everyone is welcome to use, including representative-elected Sarah McBride. '
