Samsung Galaxy S24 FE was unveiled in India on Thursday. The company has announced the on-sale date of the handset, but it is currently available for pre-order in the country. The phone has a similar design to the vanilla Galaxy S24 model. It is equipped with an Exynos 2400e chipset and houses a 4,700 mAh battery. It comes equipped with a 50-megapixel triple camera unit and a 10-megapixel selfie shooter. The phone comes with support for Galaxy AI features like Circle to Search and Live Translate.
Samsung Galaxy S24 FE Price, Availability
The price of the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE in India starts at Rs. 59,999 for the 8GB + 128GB option, while the 8GB + 256GB variant costs Rs. 65,999. The phone will be available in India from October 3. It is offered in the colors Blue, Graphite and Mint.
The handset is currently available for pre-booking in the country through Samsung India website and selected stores. As part of the pre-booking offers, customers can get the 256GB option of the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE at the price of the 128GB variant, which is Rs. 59,999 instead of Rs. 65,999.
While pre-booking, customers can also get a Samsung Care+ package worth Rs. 4,799 at Rs. 999. They can also avail a no-cost EMI option of up to 12 months.
Samsung Galaxy S24 FE specifications
The dual (Nano) SIM supported Samsung Galaxy S24 FE comes with Android 14-based One UI 6.1. The device has a 6.7-inch full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,340 pixels) dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The phone is powered by a 4nm deca-core Exynos 2400e SoC paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage.
In terms of camera, the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is equipped with a triple camera unit at the rear including a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS). It is accompanied by an 8-megapixel telephoto shooter with 3x optical zoom with OIS and a 12-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide lens. There is a 10 megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls.
The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE comes with support for Galaxy AI features that we have seen in the Galaxy S24 series phones. These include Google-supported Circle to Search, Live Translate, Note Assist, Interpreter mode and Composer.
You get a 4,700mAh battery in the Galaxy S24 FE with 25W wired charging support. Connectivity options include 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and a USB Type-C port. The phone has an IP68-rated construction for dust and splash resistance. For security, it comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor and Samsung’s Knox Vault. It measures 162.0 x 77.3 x 8.0 mm and weighs 213 g.
