Great -Britain is on schedule for the worst year so far when it comes to migrant boat transitions, because the home office blames better weather for higher figures.
Fresh government data show that a record high of 1,489 illegal migrants has made the journey over the dangerous channel waters from the beginning of January to 6 February.
This has risen from 1,335, which made the trip from France last year, as well as 1,442 that traveled to the British coast in 2023.
The home office was blamed for the increased number of migrants that the channel crossed in a large number of good weather for days, the Sun reported.
Labor has since come under fire when 23,000 migrants crossed in 2024 since their loveless landslide victory in the general elections last July.
Critics have also pointed out that Labor promised to come down hard on smuggling gangs who benefit from replacing migrants about the dangerous channel.
Shadow Home Secretary Chris Philip gave the increase in the increase in Sir Keir Starmer for 'Idiotic' who entered the controversial Rwanda deportation plan of Tories.
Keir deleted the Rwanda plan – so that asylum seekers would have been sent to the African country to process their claims – as soon as he took on

Mr Philip told the publication: 'Labor introduces their border transfer law that gives illegal immigrants a way to citizenship. This is a weak labor government led by a weak PM. '
Last month, starmer promised to touch people smugglers where it hurts' with heavy new financial sanctions.
The Premier revealed that new laws allow human traffickers to be treated “such as terrorists, cyber criminals and corrupt kleptocrats.”
A new regime of sanctions enables ministers to freeze the bank accounts, properties and other assets of human traffickers, including those responsible for sending tens of thousands of migrants with a small boat across the canal.
Traffickers will be called public for the first time, so that financial institutions and other companies know that it is illegal to deal with them.
Sir Keir described the measures as a 'world first' and said: 'My promise to email readers is this – we are going to touch them where it hurts. Today we announce a new sanction regime, the first of its kind all over the world.
'We are going to treat people smugglers such as terrorists, cyber criminals and corrupt Kleptocrats. We freeze their possessions, ban their journey and work with allies to place them behind bars. '
He added: 'My message to those criminals who still think they can break our limits is this. There is nowhere to hide. We come after you. '
Next week, politicians will have the opportunity to vote on the borders borders of Home Secretary Yvette Cooper, who further hands over immigration officers to bring human traffickers to court.

Although the current channel crossing percentages have reached a record for January, this does not suggest that this trend will continue the rest of 2025.
During this period in 2022, 1,339 people had made the trip to the British coasts – and later it became the highest year registered for channel transition, a total of 45,755 illegal migrants.
A work source said that the last daily numbers of zero roofs on the channel brought the speed down to the bottom levels registered in 2023.
They said the sun: 'Only yesterday Chris Philp said it was' shameful' that 1,489 people had crossed the channel by 6 February this year and blame the 'idiotic' decision to scrap the Rwanda schedule.
'So what was his view of the situation on 8 February 2023, when he was a minister of home office, when the Rwanda schedule was present, and when 1,837 people had crossed the channel – almost a quarter more than until now arrived in 2025 In 2025?
“Did he think that was a shame? Or did he know at that time better than to publish ridiculous statements about the state of the fight against people who have mucked less than six weeks a year, especially those of whom everyone could be told with some knowledge of the data, Would have said completely outdated within 24 hours? '
MailOnline has approached the home office for comment.
