The government is preparing to adjust its official view of Covid's origin to be in accordance with the growing international consensus that the virus spread as a result of a leak of a Wuhan Laboratory.
The move follows an earlier report from the CIA that a leak was the most likely explanation.
In response to a question from Tory Peer Lord Kempsell, Minister of Health Merron said that the government “noted the assessment of the Central Intelligence Agency and will constantly revise our own assessment of the virus's origin, taking into account new intelligence.”
