The prime minister has praised his son in a moving tribute during his victory speech in the aftermath of his landslide 2025 Australian federal elections victory.

Anthony Albanese said that his son Nathan was ‘a nice young man I am so proud of’ for hundreds of labor supports in the Canterbury-Hurlstone Park RSL-Club near his Sydney At home from Marrickville on Saturday evening.
