The curtain is available in five different colours, including cream and grey, and ranges in price from €22.50 to €55 depending on size.

“Overall a fantastic price,” said another.

“Not only do they look great and are easy to clean, they really keep ALL the drafts out of the door and they help save on bills too.”

A third commented: “Beautiful material, deep color and most importantly it has made such a difference in keeping the heat in and the cold out.”

“I bought two of these door curtains for my front door and they look beautiful,” said another.

“Good quality, thickness and color, and they keep the heat in.”

Martin Lewis is urgently warning millions of households could miss out on up to £600 in energy bills this winter

“This curtain was perfect, fully lined and keeps the draft out,” agreed another.

“Great quality looks more expensive than would be recommended.”

“The reason we bought was to help with this cold weather,” someone else wrote.

“It has made such a difference, keeping the cold out and making it very cozy.”

An additional advantage is that the curtains work well all year round, as they can ensure that the rooms stay cool when it is hot outside.

“I have Dunelm thermal curtains on all my windows and when they are closed the temperature in the house rises quickly,” said one.

What energy bill help is available?

There are a number of different ways to get help paying your energy bills if you’re struggling to make ends meet.

If you get into debt, you can always approach your supplier to see if they can put you on a repayment plan before imposing a prepayment meter.

This means that you pay off what you owe in installments over a certain period.

If your supplier offers you a payment plan that you don’t think you can afford, contact them again to see if you can get a better deal.

Several energy companies have subsidy schemes available for customers who have difficulty paying their bills.

But the eligibility criteria varies depending on the supplier and the amount you can get depends on your financial circumstances.

For example, British Gas or Scottish Gas customers who are struggling to pay their energy bills can receive grants worth up to £2,000.

British Gas is also providing assistance through its British Gas Energy Trust and Individuals Family Fund.

You don’t have to be a British Gas customer to apply for the second fund.

EDF, E.ON, Octopus Energy and Scottish Power are all also offering grants to struggling customers.

Thousands of vulnerable households are missing out on extra help and protection by not registering with the Priority Services Register (PSR).

The service helps support vulnerable households, such as the elderly or ill, and some of the benefits include advance warning of power cuts, free gas safety checks and extra support if you’re struggling.

Contact your energy company to see if you can submit an application.

“Even when the weather is very hot, the rooms remain nice and cool when they are closed.”

“A very smart and peaceful addition to our hallway,” said another.

“Also ideal now (August) to keep the sun out, but bought to retain heat in the winter.”
