I’m a Dog Groomer, the Breeds I’d Never Own – #3 is Way Too Smart to Handle
A DOG Groomer has shared the dog breeds she would never own after working with them.
The woman, who works in dog kennels, revealed there were enough puppies she worked with to put her off.
She used social media to make a list of the breeds she wouldn’t dare bring home.
The first was the Belgian Malinois. She said these were cute breeds but acted like German Shepherds ‘on c**ck’ and their energy levels made her want to avoid them.
Next she controversially said she would probably avoid the Golden Retriever.
“They are great dogs, but they are high maintenance and shed a lot,” she explained.
Border Collies were also on the list. She said these herd dogs were far too smart and often tried to drive their owners around.
The groomer wasn’t a fan of Beagles either and said their temperament was partly to blame.
She jokingly asked, do they need to breathe or is barking 24/7 part of their breed standard?
Barking is a term used for dogs that have a tendency to bark or howl loudly, which Beagles are notorious for.
Bulldogs also made the list because she noted that they were stubborn and shouted constantly.
She also said they often had breathing problems, making it difficult to care for them.
The groomer wasn’t a fan of Burmese Mountain Dogs either, saying their heads were so big and there was nothing wrong with them up there.
The video has since gone viral on her TikTok account @evergreen with over 37,000 likes.
People were quick to share their thoughts in the comments.
One person wrote: “Golden retrievers are the best dogs in the world, your opinion is wrong.”
