The Philadelphia Eagles will celebrate their Super Bowl triumph during a parade in the city on Friday, has been announced.
Philadelphia is in party mode after the Eagles have hit the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday evening, with Quarterback Jalen hurts in a dominant 40-22 victory over the back-to-back champions in New Orleans.
Hurts and his teammates will now return home and parade the Vince Lombardi trophy through the city, with a historic celebration planned for Friday, February 14.
“Together, with the @eaagles, we will soon reveal more details,” wrote the city of Philadelphia on X when announcing the date.
Eagles supporters get the chance to party for five days with the team of their Beatdown from the Chiefs in Louisiana.
Kansas City had the chance to become the first team in history that three straight Super Bowls won, but Patrick Mahomes – who threw two expensive interceptions on a rare outside the night – was eventually surpassed by his rival Quarterback.
Hurts produced one of the best versions of his career to date on the largest stage, and completed 17 of his 22 passes for 221 Yards and two touchdowns with President Donald Trump.
The 26-year-old also hurried for 72 Yards and a touchdown when Philadelphia drove to the most one-sided victories of Super Bowl in the recent memory.
