A parish councilor resigned after being accused of blowing up the cat of a neighbor.
James Garnor was kicked out of his position as a parish councilor in Whittlebury, Northamptonshire, after a video originated from his neighbor's cat who was caught in an explosion.
Suki, the 11-year-old Tabby, was left behind with sung whickers after stepping on a bird table moments for the explosion.
Allegedly, Mr Garnor used long -controlled devices to make the explosion.
Now a explanation from Whittlebury Parish Council said that Mr Garnor had placed on Friday 7 February, with immediate effect '.
The Council added: “We understand the concerns of the community and want to ensure that we take all things of animal welfare seriously.”
The police were warned about the April 2023 attack.
While Mr. Garnor attended a voluntary interview and images of the incident was shown, the police of Northmeltonshire decided that there was insufficient evidence to reduce criminal charges. Instead, the case was dealt with under legislation on antisocial behavior.

Suki's owner – only known as Nikki – the Telegraph said: “For me this is like Jeffrey Dahmer kind of things … I felt physically sick.”
She added: '[Suki] You used to sit down for hours, hugging and playing … Now she rarely comes close to you. '
Opinions about the incident have divided the village. A woman even claimed that the case was 'blown out of proportion'.
Others, including the local resident Amelia, said that Mr. Garnor's actions were irresponsible. “He is supposed to give an example,” she said. “It is clear from the images that this was no coincidence.”
The motivation for the explosions remains unclear, but some in the village believe that Garnor acted at the request of a neighbor to display cats to steal food intended for birds.
Opinions in the village are divided. Some locals, who notice the disruption caused by cats in the area, claim that Mr Garnor should not be punished overly, especially because no serious damage has been caused to the animals.
