I’m a Vet – 5 Dog Breeds That Terrify Us, Including a Family Favorite
A vet has revealed the five dog breeds that make him tremble in his boots.
Amir Anwary took to social media, shared the list with his followers – and it sparked a heated debate.
The vet listed five dog breeds that he and his staff fear and started with the Chow Chow.
This giant breed is native to China and was once used as a guard dog 2,000 years ago during the Han Dynasty.
These fluffy dogs are known to be independent by nature, but may try to assert dominance if not trained properly, says Hillspet.
Not only that, they can become very protective of themselves and their family, which could be why veterinarians like Dr. Amir be wary of them.
The vet also put Cocker Spaniels on the list of dogs he and his staff fear.
Although this breed is usually the favorite dog of the entire family, Amir clearly thought differently.
They are known to have a cheerful temperament, but they can be prone to sudden bursts of aggression that come out of nowhere.
The problem is so common that it even has its own name Spaniel Rage or Cocker Rage.
Rottweilers were also added to the list.
These giant breeds are often used as a safety or protection dog, but can be total softies if trained properly.
Small and mighty: the Chihuahua also ended up on the list of scary breeds.
What they lack in height they make up for in attitude, and these small dogs are prone to behavioral problems if not trained.
Some problems with these small dogs include separation anxiety, begging, and even biting.
Amir then revealed the last dog on his list, the Belgian Malinois.
