Eight members of a Bolton care gang were convicted of sexual abuse of a schoolgirl by driving her with drugs and alcohol for a period of two years.
Four of the men were convicted of rape or attempted rape and all were found guilty of sexual activity with the girl when she was between 13 and 15 years old.
The jury of the Liverpool Crown Court heard how the violations mainly took place at 'a party house' in Blackrod, where drugs and drinks were consumed.
They introduced the girl, described as 'young, naive and influenceable', to cocaine and cannabis.
“She was cared for. As part of the care, and to reduce any objections, she was folded with alcohol, cannabis and cocaine, “Ben Lawrence, to the court, told the court.
'At different times she considered herself a relationship with a number of defendants.
“However, the feeling was not mutual. The defendants committed both consensual and non-consensual violations against her.
'They were of course satisfied if she agreed to sexual activity. However, if she did not agree, they would do it anyway. '
