An important police operation outside the American consulate general in Sydney disrupted traffic this morning.
Patrol cars, police -reddish vehicles, paramedics and fire brigade personnel were on stage on Wednesday at 8 o'clock after a suspicious package was found on the footpath outside the building.
The NSW police said Miller Street was blocked between the Pacific Highway and Blue Street while the package was checked.
The area has been declared safe and reopen all roads.
