Russia will wage a major war in Europe in just five years and is expected to get away with attacking NATO, the Danish intelligence has warned.
A report from the Intelligence Service of Denmark (FE) outlines three potential scenarios for Russian military aggression, warning that if the war ends in Ukraine or frozen, Moscow will be able to reduce important military means, which is a direct threat to NATO forms.
The intelligence analysis, published after the US President Donald Trump returned to the White House with a declared goal of negotiating about peace in Ukraine, suggests that the military structure of Russia could quickly escalate under these circumstances.
The report outlines a hair -raising timeline of growing threats from Moscow, starting from just six months.
Within six months, the analysis claims that Russia could be able to wage a local war in a country that borders on the territory.
Within two years, Russia could pose a credible threat to one or more NATO countries, which may lead to a regional conflict in the Baltic sea area region.
And within five years, Russian could be ready for a full war in Europe – without the need for American support or intervention.
The intelligence chef of Denmark, Anja Dalsgaard Nielsen, told the Danish newspaper Jyllands-posts that there is currently no concrete Russian threat for Denmark, but the situation is shifting rapidly.

“We see an increased willingness on the Russian side to challenge NATO, and we see an American administration aimed at ending the fights in Ukraine,” she said.
One of the most worrying elements of the report is the suggestion that the position of Russia in Ukraine has shifted from reconstruction to an intensified military structure, indicating that the Kremlin is preparing for future conflicts.
Although this does not mean that Russia has made a final decision to attack NATO, it does suggest that Moscow builds up the capacity to make that decision if it chooses, according to the analysis of Fe.
“The economic and material support from China and the support of Noord -Korea and Iran with troops and weapon systems respectively contribute increasingly to the release of resources for the reinforcement of Russia opposite NATO,” said the intelligence service.
Otherwise Puck Nielsen, a military expert from the Danish Defense Academy, said TV2 that NATO's deterrence was weakened, so that Russia could believe that it could attack the alliance and get away with it.
But Donald Trump has doubted whether the United States will support European NATO countries in a war against Russia.
“If NATO's deterrence is undermined in Europe, Russia can believe that they can launch an attack on NATO and achieve a good result,” he warned.

It comes after Trump has revealed that he had to buy Greenland from Denmark, because America needs the island for security reasons.
The Prime Minister of Denmark has said that repeatedly Greenland is 'not for sale', but the fixation of Trump did not stop.
“I think we'll have it,” he said. He also claims that the 57,000 inhabitants of Greenland want to be with us', although many say otherwise on the island.
With the direction of Trump's foreign policy still unclear and NATO leaders are increasingly worried about European security, the report serves as a grim warning that in the coming years may be crucial in determining the power relations between Russia and the West.
Senior researcher at the Denmark Institute for International Studies, Flemmings Splidsbul, Tv2 told that Russia is 'sure' sees that there are 'large gaps in NATO cooperation' today as a result of the situation around Greenland.
'We had a situation in which two large NATO countries, France and Germany, a third NATO country, Denmark, defending against a fourth, the United States. And that has caused great damage to the collaboration, “he explained.
Trump claimed to have had a conversation on Saturday with Russian President Vladimir Putin about the end of the war in Ukraine.
When asked about the conversations, Trump told reporters 'that we are making progress' and said that he expected to speak more with the Russian leader, and when the time is ripe, a physical meeting will have with him.
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told The Tass State News Agency that 'many different communication is on the rise'.
“This communication is carried out through different channels,” said Peskov when Tass was asked to comment directly on a New York Post report.
'I may not know something, I don't be aware of somewhere. That is why I cannot confirm or deny it in this case. '
