Judge warns against ‘wholly self-centred’ sperm donor with 180 children who left mother suicidal after demanding parental rights to support his residency bid

A judge warned women after a sperm donor who has conceived more than 180 children has sued a few for parental rights, leaving a mother Suicidal behind.

Robert Charles Albon, who calls himself Joe Donor online, continues to advertise himself as a global sperm donor via social media and criticizes the regular donation clinics.

He has his 'success stories' online by posting photos of children whom he proudly says he has 'blond hair and blue eyes'.

But for a few of the same sex alarm the apparently altruistic act turned into a 'horror story' after he lied against a judge by claiming that he had had sex with the biological mother and complained for rights above the child.

He tried to change the child's name and demanded that their other mother was called 'aunt', despite the fact that both women act as parents from birth.

Cardiff Family Court heard that the child was conceived through syringe, with judge Jonathan Furness KC who rejects Albon's claims that he had secretly had sex with the biological mother in the back of a car.

The judge was told that Albon, who is in fifty, was a total stranger for the child and she had only met for ten minutes when they were a few weeks old.

In the newly published judgment from the case 2023, Judge Furness gave a warning to all women who are considering spermodonation and in a rare deviation from the standard practice, it ruled that it was in the public interest called Albon.

He said that Albon created a 'veneer' by saying that he wanted to 'protect the well -being' of the child, but that he was actually 'completely self -centered'.

“In reality, he is a man trying to check,” said judge Furness, adding that “women and children almost seem to be a merchandise.”

“He is a man who, in my opinion, as soon as he believes that he is right, cannot even consider an alternative vision,” the judge continued.

“The impression is of a man who has a complete absence of sensitivity or empathy is completely self -centered and will stop at nothing to get what he wants.”

The judge rejected his bid and also judged Albon, who originally comes from the US but lives in Noordoost -England, began to support the Proceedings of the Family in an attempt to support his immigration status.

The judge said there was a risk that Albon would be arrested if he returned to the US due to outstanding 'periodic payments' – usually related to debts, divorce payments or personal injury.

He added that women “fully understand the risks to get involved with him.”

The court heard that one of the mental health care of the mother had deteriorated as a result of the lawsuit, left her suicide, and that it had contributed to the demolition of the couple's relationship.

It is not the first time that Albon's controversy is troubled – he also arrived for criticism of reports on social media in which he claims that he is 'popular with black women because most have a blonde, blue -eyed child'.

And he has repeatedly struck online sperm donation clinics, and claims that doctors reportedly 'exchanged' their own sperm for that of the donor and 'destroying' embryos.

In a post from 2022, Albon wrote: 'I cost the clinics millions every year, and of course the doctors can no longer accidentally inseminate so many patients haha, that's why they are so upset and perform their media campaign against me.

'But hey, you can waste your time with clinics and their CR*P newspaper stories, or you could now just get pregnant, are not easy not necessary to do counseling or having a strange in a laboratory jacket, look at your Hoohaw Or get a second mortgage on your house, just send me a PM and soon your baby will be on the road. '

In a separate message he added: “Always choose a clinic with handsome doctors, chances are that they will replace their sperm.”

Unlike registered donation banks, people such as Albonon are not regulated and they usually work without protection offered by official donation programs such as health controls and a limit for the number of children that can be conceived by one person.

Registered sperm benches usually allow a single donor to become pregnant for only ten families.

Albon claims that he has helped each other for the past 13 years and has spoken with the media about his 'lonely' life.

He has previously complained that he cannot find love, because women with whom he dates cannot accept his 'hobby' of donating sperm around the world.

He said to the mail in 2023: 'I don't have a partner at the moment. I hope that one day I will meet that special person who can accept me for who I am – someone who wants to have children and accept my dozens of children I already have. '

Albon admitted that he had assumed some of the women he helped to have children and was even engaged to a woman he donated in 2021.

However, the relationship with Ellie Ellison ended soon after.

The sperm donor was adamant to come across so many children to help women.

“It's worth every time I see the joy when another mini is born to me,” he said. “I am focused on the happiness of the women I helped and their children.”

Albon, who is also a father for his own children, claims to have conceived others in countries such as the VK, the US, Australia, Argentina and China.
