A school board meeting descended in chaos during an argument about an LGBTQ Pride book that was made available to children in kindergarten.
The book, entitled 'The Rainbow Parade', illustrates a young child and her two mothers who together attend a pride parade, where they see men holding hand in bondage and an almost naked person only walks through the streets.
Werdated parents of Penfield Central School in New York attended a board meeting on Tuesday evening in an attempt to express their concerns, but were closed by officials who refused to listen.
“If you think that is appropriate for children to see, then there is something wrong with you,” smoked John Feathers.
'You must have a mental evaluation. There is no reason that should not be at the schools at all. '
He noticed that one page of the book shows that a “ass is clear”.
“And if you go on this side of the photo, there are two boys in Bondage there.”
Superintendent Tasha Potter was confronted with anger and shouted from parents gathered in the crowd as she led the meeting.

“We have the policy. The procedures to object [to learning materials]”She said.
Parents started to scream their worries of the crowd while she said, “That is not how you object.”
“We will ask people who can't do that to be removed. We are here at our board meeting. We do business. '
That comment led to indignation of the crowd, which Potter and the rest of the board held out when they got up and walked out of the room.
“It's our board meeting,” a parent shouted about the choir of angry.
The board was called 'chickens' and 'cowards' while they left.
'The school board just leaves. They just leave, “said an indignant parent. “How do you just leave a school board meeting with a full room?”
Another parent said that the book was sent home with her student of class five, but it is available in the library where students in kindergarten have access to it.
The book is reportedly available in the Library for Children in Kindergarten, and there have been claims that it was 'sent home with' a child in kindergarten and another in class five
The board ended the meeting when they were confronted by furious parents
But other parents said that there was nothing offensive to the book.
Parent Maggie Rex told NBC that she thought it was completely harmless.
“There are many, many parents in this district who really believe that a safe and hospitable environment is an incredibly important aspect of their educational freedom for our children,” she said.
