Brittany Hockley opens up about her upcoming wedding plans to Swiss footballer Benjamin Siegrist at the ACRA Awards in Sydney – and reveals the VERY surprising dress code confusion
Brittany Hockley presented her upcoming wedding plans to her Swiss footballer fiance Benjamin Siegrist at the ACRA Awards in Sydney on Saturday.
The presenter, 36, who won best podcast host for her Life Uncut programme, told Daily Mail Australia she and Ben had set a date for next year and were currently planning their big day.
‘I’m getting married next year. I don’t tell many secrets yet. My co-host Mitch Churi will of course be there,” Brittany began.
“Mitch actually has a starring role at the wedding. I haven’t gotten that far yet. Probably just my dad and my sister, to be honest [will give speeches].’
Brittany then said that she was currently learning to speak German so she could surprise her European fiancé on their special day.
‘Ben’s family is going to give speeches in German. It’s a very multicultural wedding.’
The brunette beauty added that Ben’s European family experienced a hilarious misunderstanding due to her strict Australian dress code rule.
‘There were no flip-flops to cause confusion! I was embarrassed to think that half of his family thought I meant G-strings.’

Brittany showed off her slim figure at the exclusive event in a flirty mini dress.
The black number featured lace detailing around the bust and super short lengths that showed off her pins.
It had a flared skirt and thin straps, with the sheer lace part revealing a bust.
She caused a storm past her co-star Mitch Churi as they arrived for the star-studded event.
It was a winner of a night for the star as Podcast Hosts of the Year was awarded to former reality stars Hockley and Laura Byrne for their Life Uncut series on ARN/iHeart, Sydney.
