Former England -footballer Joey Barton has arrived at the court to see claims that he has sent offensive social media reports to Omroep Jeremy Vine and television commentator Lucy Ward.
It comes after the father of four, 42, last month, has refused two accusations of sending indecent or offensive messages on social media.
According to the charges, the messages – sent on X, previously known as Twitter – had planned to cause need and fear.
He would have sent messages to Mrs. Ward between 3 and 8 January 2024 and to Mr Vine between January 9 and March 20.
After Aluko and Ward, he tweeted as experts on ITV for an FA Cup match between Crystal Palace and Everton on January 4, 2024, reportedly comparing with serial killers Fred and Rose West. In a continued tweet he compared Aluko with Joseph Stalin and Pol Pot, an earlier hearing was told.
Vine has previously sued Barton due to defamation and intimidation over nine x posts, including one that the BBC Radio 2 presenter called a false a 'big bike nonce'.
They arranged the claim after Barton, who appeared one England as a replacement in a 2007 -friendship against Spain and was the most recent manager of League One Bristol Rovers FC, placed two apologies and paid compensation and the legal costs of Vine.
Barton, who married fashion designer Georgia McNeil in 2019 in 2019, was previously not guilty of a complaint for malignant communication about the incident with Eluko.
