The 'unanimous' elections of Donald Trump as head of the Kennedy Center has led celebrities to leave the ship and dump their prestigious roles in the monumental cultural institution.
Trump continued on Wednesday with a revision from the center after he had criticized his former leadership, became chairman of the organization and fired his president, Deborah Rutter.
The Kennedy Center said in a statement that his board of directors, newly filled with initiated by Trump, had chosen him chairman and had called Richard Grenell as an interim president.
In a statement, Trump wrote: 'It is a great honor to be the chairman of the Kennedy Center, especially with this great board of directors. We will turn the Kennedy Center into a very special and exciting place! '

“Keep in mind that from today Shonda Rhimes has resigned from the board of the Kennedy Center,” she said in a statement.
Singer Ben Folds also explained a statement in which he announced that he would no longer serve as an artistic adviser to the National Symphony Orchestra.

Trump did not live with the Honors versions during his first term of office.
Rutter had previously announced her intention to resign at the end of this year. Rubenstein was planned to serve as chairman up to and including September 2026.

In the meantime, Liberal CNN disputed the idea that Trump had been unanimously chosen.
