Four killed when 'unknown' vehicle crashed into two bicycles in Nalanda
PATNA: Four people were killed and two seriously injured after a unknown vehicle rammed in two motorcycles onto SH-78 (Bihta-Sarmera road). Nalanda district in Bihar on Saturday evening, reports Faryal Rumi. The accident took place in Barhiya village under Sarmera block when six young people were returning home from a Dussehra Scholarship.
A police team that reached the spot found all six youths in an unconscious state. They admitted them to Sarmera Community Health Center where four were declared as brought dead and two were referred to Biharsharif Sadar Hospital. Later, the two seriously injured youths were referred to Patna for better treatment, police said.
Vikas Kumar Yadav, SHO of Sarmera police station, said, “We have not been able to identify the vehicle that rammed into the bikes and are hoping for some clues. We have sent the bodies of four victims for post-mortem.”
