A new study has unveiled the most walkable city of the UK and it is good news for British who keep a day out at the sea.
Time -Out Asked for more than 18,000 people around the world to assess how easy their city is to make ends meet.
And while Abu Dhabi takes the crown as the world’s most walkable city, four British cities come the worldwide top 20.
According to the results, Brighton is officially the easiest city in the UK to explore without a car and the third most walkable in the world.
Set less than nine out of ten (88 percent) of the residents assessed the walkability of Brighton as ‘good’ or ‘great’.
Tourists will notice that many of the best rated attractions of the city are only a short walk of each other.
The Royal Pavilion is the best -rated monument from Brighton on TripAdvisor. The historic palace, which is described as the own version of Great Britain of the Taj Mahal, was built as a residence by the sea for King George IV.
A tourist wrote on TripAdvisor: ‘This place is absolutely great and it was not at all what I expected, which is a good thing by the way!

Edinburgh, Cardiff and London are also assessed among the most walkable cities in the world.
More than 80 percent of the inhabitants of Cardiff and the inhabitants of Edinburgh believe that their cities were walking, while 79 percent of Londoners consider the big smoke to explore on foot.

In another recent walkability studyCordoba, a beautiful city in the south of Spain, was named the world’s most walkable city.
Skyscanner discovered that tourists would only take 26 minutes to walk among the most important attractions of Cordoba.
It said: “The historic old city is a UNESCO world heritage and ideal for exploring winding streets on foot.”
Meanwhile A New wooden city in Sweden was designed to be a ‘five -minute city’ with all its facilities on just a short walk of each other.
