Xiaomi 15 may come with Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and these features

Xiaomi 15 is expected to launch in China as part of the company’s latest flagship smartphone series, alongside the alleged Xiaomi 15 Pro and 15 Ultra models. The successor to the 2023 Xiaomi 14 may come with Qualcomm’s alleged Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, widely known as Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, according to claims made by a tipster. It is also speculated that the device will have a 120Hz AMOLED display and a Leica-tuned camera system.

Xiaomi 15 Specifications Leak

In one after on In terms of optics, the device could have a triple Leica camera setup on the rear, consisting of a 50-megapixel camera with OmniVision OV50H sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 50-megapixel 3.2x telephoto camera.

The alleged Xiaomi 15 may be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which is expected to be launched at the Snapdragon Summit in Hawaii next week. It could run on HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15 – the latest operating system (OS) for Android devices.

Brar also suggests that the phone will be backed by a 5,500mAh battery with support for 90W wired and 50W wireless fast charging. The device is also said to have an IP68 rating against dust and water ingress.

Previous leaks indicate that the device may have up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of built-in storage. It could be available in black and white color options. The device can also be offered in a glass or vegan leather finish.

Xiaomi 15 Price (expected)

According to a recent report, the Xiaomi 15 price in China could start at CNY 4,599 (approximately Rs. 52,000) for the base variant with 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, while it is speculated that the top-end 1TB variant will cost CNY 5,499 (approximately Rs. .63,000).
