Post on Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK groupa private Facebook group with 2.5 million members, Rachel confirmed she was lucky enough to get her hands on the Addis Swift Dry Heated Airer Pod.
While it once cost £40, the brilliant purchase, which uses less energy than a tumble dryer and dries clothes quickly, has been reduced by £10 to just £30.
Rachel was delighted with her B&M purchase, which is easy to assemble and compact to store, as she wrote: “If anyone is looking for a solution to get their laundry dry but doesn’t want to spend more than £100 for a heated airer , I bought this from my local B&M yesterday.
Not only does the Swift Dry Heated Airer Pod help reduce wrinkles and ironing time, but Addis says it costs less than 6 cents per hour to get your laundry dry.
It has three arms and dries laundry quickly and efficiently thanks to hot air circulation technology.
It has a handy timer function and the average drying time is only 180 minutes with an average wash.
Clearly pleased with her purchase, Rachel continued: “It’s BRILLIANT!!!
“Two loads of laundry were dried and put away at the end of the day – my regular tumble dryer took two to three days to be completely dry, even when left by the radiator.
“An absolute bargain at £30!!!! This was in Ipswich B&M but my mum originally saw it in her branch in Kent so I suspect it will be in most branches.”

Rachel later explained that the Addis Airer Pod “doesn’t fold”, adding: “The rack inside falls apart into three small pieces, the cover comes off and folds up and the heating part isn’t huge.
“I keep it in a small zippered storage bag and tuck it in the bottom of my wardrobe when I’m not using it.”
The busy mum then added that the Airer Pod, which holds 24 hangers, is great for her family, as she explained: “I have three children and a partner who is a tradesman, so I have to do the laundry all the time.
“Like I said, I managed to get two loads dry yesterday, which were a mix of adult and child sizes.
Even more winter washing tips
Tackling winter laundry can be a challenge, but these helpful tips can help you stay on top of it:
- Use a dehumidifier: Place a dehumidifier in your drying room to speed up the drying process and prevent moisture.
- Spin cycle boost: Run an extra spin cycle on your washing machine to remove excess water from clothes, which will reduce drying time.
- Indoor drying rack: Invest in a good quality indoor drying rack and place it near a radiator or in a well-ventilated area.
- Tumble dryer balls: Add dryer balls to your dryer to help clothes dry faster and reduce static cling.
- Space saving hangers: Use space-saving hangers or a retractable clothesline to maximize indoor drying space.
- Microfiber towels: Place microfiber cloths over your drying rack to absorb extra moisture from hanging clothes.
- Partly dry outside: Hang the clothes outside on dry days before bringing them inside to dry.
These hacks can help you keep your laundry routine efficient and your clothes fresh, even during the colder months.
“I like to dry clothes on hangers anyway because it makes it easier to get everything away at the end of the day, so this worked well for my laundry system.”
Rachel revealed she placed the handy gadget in her dining room, near her patio doors, to dry her laundry.
She claimed: “I didn’t notice any condensation on the windows. It may be different if you use it in a smaller room, but I don’t see it creating more moisture than just leaving laundry hanging on the ventilation grilles and radiators.”
