The authority of Elon Musk to purify federal departments and gain access to sensitive government data via Doge, has been challenged by the Proense -General from 14 states throughout America in a coordinated attempt to get rid of his power.
In a newly tilted lawsuit, 14 lawyers generally criticized Musk's 'virtually uncontrolled power' as head of the newly established department of the efficiency of the government.
The lawsuit was brought on Thursday at the federal court in Washington DC and accused the 'first buddy' of the billionaire of performing tasks that should be well out of his assignment.
As part of the complaint, the Group Hope Musk will be banned to gain access to sensitive information or to have the power to make staff decisions and to display Enitre departments.
At the same time, they asked the court to declare that the actions of Musk have no legal impact.
It comes when Musk and his newly formed army of young engineers dismantle the federal departments in an attempt to save costs and reduce waste.
“We ask the court to invalidate his guidelines and actions and to give a restrictive order,” said Attorney General Dana Nessel in Michigan in a conference alongside attorney general from Arizona and New Mexico.
California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont and Washington Attorneys General also joined the court case.

New Mexico Attorney General Raúl Torrez warned President Trump that he demonstrates 'weakness' by giving Musk uncontrolled power.
He suggested that the president should promote his agenda instead through a congress controlled by the Republicans.
“Moving quickly and breaking things can work in Silicon Valley for a technology company,” Torrez said. “It's not good governance and it's unconstitutional.”
The group of powerful musk critics now urge the court to identify ways that 'data obtained by illegal access to the desk were used' and removes the access that Musk and his team already have.
They also want the court to prevent DOGE from making more changes to the use of public funds or government contracts.
Musk's Doge, together with the Office of Personnel Management (OPM), has also been given major powers to do more control over hiring a federal employee.
President Trump started a 90-day recruitment inspection when he returned to the White House for his second term.
“People voted for major government reform and that is what people will get,” said Musk on Tuesday, from the Oval Office.
“They are going to get what they voted for.”
One of the tactics includes departments of employees who are still in their probationary period – which can take up to two years in some agencies.
These employees have a limited story available to go back to the decision and amount to seven percent of the entire civilian workforce of two million.
The mass dismissals take place in the midst of several lawsuits to stop the efforts of Doge to reform federal agencies.
On Wednesday, a federal court abolished the temporary freezing of President Trump's offer to federal employees, since the administration wants to reduce the workforce.
A trade union that represents hundreds of thousands of federal employees and others had sued last week to stop the deadline of the deferred Buyout offer of 6 February.
More than 65,000 employees had accepted the offer from Friday, according to an administration officer who was familiar with the case, even when the deadline was temporarily paused in court.
Doge estimated that between five and 10 percent of government workers would accept the offer and that it would save an estimated $ 100 billion a year.
President Trump has repeatedly expressed the satisfaction about the work that Musk and his team do.
“I want to recommend Elon because he has done a fantastic one – he doesn't need this,” Trump said earlier this week.
“He is abused by you every day. He has found more things than anyone could find. He has the credibility to do it.
'His group of people, they started with 12, I call them 12 geniuses. They started with 12, they went to 20 and 25 and now they are up to almost 100. People participate to help them. This is a huge fraud that has taken place. '
This is a crushing new story. More come.
