Ladbaby Mum admits trolls blamed her for ‘cheating’ on her husband because she was ‘so fat’

They have racked up more Christmas songs than The Beatles and have a combined 2.9 million followers.

But it hasn’t all been plain sailing for Ladbaby and LadyBaby Mum – Mark Doyle and wife Roxanne – who have spoken out about the ‘cheating’ and ‘groping’ claims that rocked their marriage and the internet trolling that followed.

The name LadBaby first appeared on the internet in 2016 when Mark created a social media blog called “LadBaby” to represent that he was a boy who became a father.

While his wife – Roxanne, aka LadyBaby Mum – was pregnant with their first child, Mark began documenting his daily life as a new parent. He shared practical parenting tips to save parents time and money. money.

However, after they became famous with popular YouTube videos and did countless of them Christmas number one, they were startled by a video that surfaced online of him apparently ‘groping’ another woman.

In the 18-second clip, ‘Mark’ appeared to ‘touch a woman’s buttocks on a night out’ and then put his arms around the woman, who did not appear to be his wife Roxanne.

The couple made no comment at the time, but spoke about the incident in their new book, Our LadBaby Journey: Success, Sacrifice and Sausage Rolls, out today.

Mark writes: The messages had started via DM in early 2022 with a anonymously account saying they wanted five thousand or they were going to leak this video.

“We were used to the bullshit messages, especially since Ed and Elton number one, so we just ignored it.

“Then the DMs switched to emails demanding ten thousand dollars and those messages now included the video clip, which we saw for the first time.”

They reported the incident to the police Police at the time, but say the accounts that messaged them disappeared, leaving them without proof – but the clip was later shared TikTok.

The abuse became so severe that Mark admitted he began to suffer from panic attacks.

Police took the case seriously and counter-terrorism officers were assigned to counsel the couple at their home.

Mark said: ‘I don’t think people realize the impact of that level of trolling, with the police coming to support us during that time.’

Roxanne also emphasizes in the book that the man in the clip is not her husband.

She says: “I knew it wasn’t Mark in the film. He knew it wasn’t him.

“The first thing he said was, ‘I don’t care,’ and he was incredibly disturbed by it.

“Trust is something we really do proud ourselves further in our relationship and Mark doesn’t lie. It was all so strange.”

The couple claims the video is “fake” and “powered by AI.”

Roxanne adds: At no time would or could Mark have been in that situation.

“We don’t go out without each other or alone these days, so it wasn’t a circumstance that could have happened. I knew this wasn’t real; there were too many things that weren’t right.”

The mother-of-two says it was difficult to watch Mark investigate the incident and insists that “we are solid in our wedding.”

However, she also opened up about the trolling she received as a result of the clip.

She says: “I also got a lot of criticism from people saying, ‘No wonder he does that, you’re too fat.'”

They admitted that they had considered making a statement at the time, but did not want to draw more attention to it.

LadBaby is said to be worth £1.3 million, thanks to their highly successful YouTube channel company companies.

They are the first musical act in Britain history to rack up five Christmas No. 1 hits, surpassing the Beatles’ record.

Their new songs include “We Built This City”, “I Love Sausage Rolls”, “Don’t Stop Me Eatin'”, “Sausage Rolls for Everyone” and “Food Aid”.

Roxanne also signed a major deal with In The Style for her own fashion line.
