The trend is everywhere at the moment and celebrities like Dakota Fanning and Gwyneth Paltrow have been spotted wearing a pair as part of a laid-back look.

But don’t worry, you don’t have to dust off your dad’s corduroy pants or spend any money celebrity prices to make the most of this trend, just go down Marks & Spencer and pick up their latest ‘cool girl’ pair.

Priced at just €39.50, the wide leg corduroy trousers come in four different colors and are perfect for an autumn outfit.

The dark brown Bitter Chocolate pair is perfect if you want to join the 70s trend, or opt for classic black for a slightly more timeless look.

They also come in a Copper Tan color, Navy, and even a burgundy Dark Claret shade that screams fall.

As M&S fans know, not only do their trousers come in sizes 6 to 24, but you can also choose between short, regular and long so you can get the perfect fit.

“These cotton-rich cords are made with extra stretch for comfortable wearing,” the product description reads online.

“High waist, wide legs, with button and zipper. Belt loops and a five-pocket model complete the look.”

But don’t take M&S’s word for it: the trendy trousers already have hundreds of reviews from satisfied shoppers who can’t get enough of the corduroy revival.

With an average rating of 4.8 stars out of a possible five, it’s clear that they’re loved by fashion fanatics for good reason.

One said: “Fits perfectly and just right for a casual, chic night out in the fall. Very comfortable, better than thin straight trousers or jeans.”

And a second agreed that the pants are a must-have for fall and winter. They said: “I’m a big fan of the wide leg jeans, I have three of them. So when they came out in a corduroy version I jumped straight away.

That said, the shopper did note that the jeans “run larger and slightly shorter than their denim counterparts, but are easy to wear.”

“Love these cords. Very comfortable. Was hard to get hold of as they sell quickly online. If choosing between sizes, size down. The cord stretches,” wrote another.

Meanwhile, someone else raved: “Fantastic, length (normal), color and shape. I will buy in other colours!”

The retailer has been a favorite among fashion fans lately thanks to its trendy yet affordable pieces and mix of classic and trendy designs.

That’s why fashion fans are also excited about a beautiful new jacket that is perfect for your winter wardrobe, new stylish boots and perfect party dresses.

Here, Fabulous’ fashion editor, Clemmie Fieldsend, says these are the top 5 trends from the hottest catwalk designers for Fall 2024.

They add depth to your look, making you stand out and also look more expensive.

BURGUNDY: Maroon, oxblood, berry: whatever you want to call it in fashion, it’s red this fall.

The deep and rich color is everywhere and works best with shades of gray, black, dark blue and from head to toe

Pair with satin cami dresses and

LEOPARD PRINT: According to Tagwalk, 75% of the runway this season was leopard print – a vast majority.
It crept its way into last season, but it’s widespread in autumn and all over the high street, whether it’s shoes or floor-sweeping jackets, it’s a must-have trend.
