Itel Smart Ring Reportedly Seen on SDPPI Site; Ring app listed in Play Store
Itel may soon launch a Smart Ring. While the company is yet to confirm such plans for a smart wearable, an alleged Itel Smart Ring has been spotted on an Indonesian certification site. The certification is in the hands of Itel’s parent company Transsion Holdings, which also has brands such as Tecno and Infinix in its portfolio. The alleged launch of an Itel Smart Ring is further supported by the Play Store listing of the Itel Ring application. The list gives us an idea of the features that the rumored smart ring may offer.

The Itel Smart Ring was spotted on the Indonesian Telecom SDPPI (Directorate General of Resources and Equipment Standardization for Post and Informatics) website, according to a 91Mobiles website. report. It appeared with the certification number 105018/SDPPI/2024. The listing doesn’t reveal any other details about the alleged smart wearable.
The report adds that since the accreditation is held by the parent company, Transsion Holdings, Itel’s sister companies, Tecno and Infinix, are also likely to unveil smart rings in due course.
Itel Ring App Play Store Listing
The Itel Ring app is currently mentioned in the Play Store and this confirms Android compatibility. According to the screenshots of the app on the Play Store, people can monitor battery life and adjust gesture controls, among other things.
The Itel Ring app’s Play Store listing suggests that the Itel Smart Ring will provide users with a physical recovery score based on sleep duration (in hours and minutes) and calories consumed (Kcals). This is expected to help users understand their physical energy and strength for the day ahead.
In addition to a sleep tracker, the Itel Smart Ring supports a sleep coach and offers sleep music via the Itel Ring app. The Play Store listing suggests that the app will have an integrated music library. It is not yet known whether the smart ring will allow users to directly control music playback and volume.
The Itel Ring app shows users a comprehensive, visual dataset of steps taken, distance traveled and calories burned. The listing suggests that the app comes with preset workout modes such as walking, running, and cycling. The app allows users to enable or disable automatic heart health monitoring.
