Eight people were rushed to the hospital after a teenage driver reportedly crashed in a parked car near Cessnock in NSW this morning.
The police were called on Sunday around 12.05 pm after the crash in Bromage RD, Abermain.
They were told that a car carried out a burnout for a crowd when he lost control, collapsed into a parked vehicle and hit several spectators.
The director, an 18-year-old man, was seriously injured and was taken to the hospital for further assessment, where he remains under the police officer.
Two children, five and six years old, were treated on site by NSW Ambulance Paramedics before they were taken to the hospital with serious injury.
Five adults were also injured and were taken to the hospital for further treatment.
A crime scene has been established and the Crash Investigations Unit is investigating the circumstances that led to the crash.
