NEW DELHI: Chief Justice of India (CJI) DY Chandrachud on Thursday interacted with a AI lawyer at the inauguration of the National Judicial Museum and Archives (NJMA).

We thought we should have not just a museum of artifacts, but a museum comparable to the international best, to emphasize the importance of our institution and the high courts in delivering justice to our citizens and in protecting the fundamental rights of our citizens,” he said.
Praising the museum designers, the CJI said, “The executors of this museum were ahead of the times. They knew what I was talking about. They had also designed the Pradhanmantri Sangrahalay at the Teen Murti Bhawan, so they had all the experience of doing a modern museum of the highest international quality.”
He then dedicated the facility to the nation, adding: “This reflects the ethos of the Supreme Court and the importance of the court to the life of our nation. So on behalf of all my colleagues here, I have the pleasure of dedicating this museum to the nation to make this museum an interactive space for the younger generation.”
DY Chandrachud, the 50th Chief Justice of India, will complete his term on November 10. The Center announced Justice Sanjeev Khanna as his successor on October 24.
