A suspected scorn driver was bashed by spectators after he reportedly lost control of a burnout during an illegal street meeting and was injured in six people, including two young children.
The young children were seriously injured and another four spectators were injured after the burn -out had gone wrong during a meeting in Abermain, west of Newcastle in the NSW Hunter Valley, just after midnight on Sunday.
The 18-year-old P-Plater director lost control during the execution of the burnout for a crowd and hit a parked vehicle that subsequently hit seven spectators, including a five-year-old and a six-year-old.
Witnesses said that the driver of the car is said to travel at about 100 km/h when he tried a burnout and handbrake before he lost control of the vehicle.
The children were treated by paramedics on the spot and hurried to the hospital with serious injury.
Other witnesses claim that the family with the two young children was homeless or parked in the remote industrial zone to sleep for the night.
Witnesses say that at least two of the injured people were flown to the hospital of the notorious Hoon sector, the local population called 'Hez'.
It has been reported that the driver, an 18-year-old man, sustained serious injuries after being gave birth by bystanders.
The suspected hoon was taken to the hospital for further assessment, where he remains under the police officer.
