RANCHI: Jharkhand’s Ajsu Party on Friday unveiled its manifesto (Sakalp Patra) for the assembly elections, but it was said there was a glaring omission among its 30 pledges. Bengali infiltration – the main poll of its NDA ally BJP.
CM Hemant Soren’s JMM seized on the missing mention and alleged that Ajsu-P has “huge differences” with the BJP on other important issues too. Ajsu-P, however, insisted that its promises were endorsed by NDA partners.
Ajsu-P chief Sudesh Mahto, while launching the manifesto, emphasized that his party’s “resolutions are based on the local aspirations of the people of Jharkhand” and cover a range of sections including youth, women, farmers and the poor.
