Three coaches of Secunderabad-Shalimar Express including parcel van derailed in Howrah
Three coaches of the 22850 Secunderabad-Shalimar Superfast Express derailed near Nalpur station in the South Eastern Railway division, railway officials said on Saturday.
Among the three carriages that derailed were a van and two others.
According to the Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) of South Eastern Railway, no casualties have been reported so far and authorities on the ground are controlling the situation.

This derailment comes after two other incidents in Tamil Nadu and Assam last week. In Tamil Nadu, the wheel of the express train to Bodinayakkanur derailed. While in Assam, rail traffic was affected under the Lumding-Badarpur hill section of the Northeast Frontier Railway following the derailment of a freight train wagon.
No injuries were reported in those cases either, although the disruptions did cause delays.
