The skincare fan originally took to Reddit to ask for tips on how to get rid of a wrinkled neck.

But when she shared a selfie of herself and said she was 72 years old, people wanted to give her tips.

Surprisingly, the beauty enthusiast confessed that she doesn’t have a regimen full of expensive products.

“I really don’t have any. Just sunscreen and moisturizer. Usually nothing at night,” she said.

She also explained that she has always been a very active person and that she finds it important to get plenty of exercise.

“I’ve been doing strength training since I was 33 and I still do it,” she added.

She also advised to “stay out of the sun” and even then to always use a good SPF.

Moreover, she admitted that she never spends a lot of money on expensive brands when it comes to makeup and skin care.

“I only use drugstore products and different moisturizers,” she said.

Part of her secret is that she controls her gray hair with dye.

Responding to one of the comments she said, “Oh, I dye my hair. I’m not ready for gray yet, although I like it on some people.”

Others still couldn’t believe how young she looked.

Someone wrote: “You look 20 years younger than you actually are. You’re doing great!”

A second chimed in: “Eh, crepey neck?!!! This has to be a joke. There’s no way this woman is 72.”

“Damn I don’t know if you give me hope or depress me lol you look amazing wow,” someone else said.

And others joined in the discussion, sharing their tips for a tickly neck, disagreeing that she didn’t need to do anything at all.

For a ‘wrinkled’ neck, you can use a moisturizer and creams with hyaluronic acid, peptides or retinol.

“Wear sunscreen daily, exfoliate gently to improve skin texture, opt for laser therapy, microneedling or chemical peels, drink plenty of fluids, eat healthily and don’t smoke.”

The Importance of Sunscreen in Your Skin Care Routine

Dermatologist and skin care enthusiast Andrea Suarez — better known as Dr. Dray — shared why you should wear sunscreen.

The one thing you can do to make the biggest difference – and this applies to all ages – is to protect your skin from the sun, Andrea emphasizes.

“The vast majority of external aging is caused by ultraviolet exposure,” she continued, and not by “not using a nice serum or not putting 90 different things on your face every day.”

“If you’re not doing this in your twenties, start now.”

But she said that wearing sunscreen alone doesn’t go far enough. Andrea urged that you also wear sun-protective clothing, such as wide-brimmed hats and long sleeves, and that you don’t stay in the sun for too long.

If you do this throughout your life – and all year round, not just in the summer or on sunny days – “the visible signs of sun-induced skin aging will diminish,” says Andrea.

These are wrinkles, impure pigmentation and sagging skin.
