The most dangerous tube and train stations in London can be mentioned today and ashamed.

MailOnline can reveal that more than 4,100 crimes were recorded in 2024 at King's Cross St Pancras, one of the busiest terminals in the capital. This is more than any other station on the entire network of Transport for Transport for London (TFL).

When the number of passengers is taken into account, the most dangerous Poplar on the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) is near Canary Wharf.

Statistics collected by the British Transport Police (BTP) and TFL show that 46 crimes were committed last year at the stop on the self -driving line. This corresponded to a rate of 58.7 violations for every million passengers.

It was followed by Cockfosters, the northern end point of the Piccadilly line, with 57.4 crimes per million passengers and then King's Cross St Pancra's with 51.4.

Since Sadiq Khan became mayor in 2016, the rates of the tube have more than doubled, from 9 million trips to more than 21 in March. Similarly, the violations have risen on the above -ground, DLR and Elizabeth line, which opened in 2022.

Our analysis comes after shock statistics last month has uncovered the ever -increasing crime epidemic commuters, who have fallen victim to violent, racist, sexist and anti -Semitic attacks.

A woman was even hit in the face with a belt in a pathogenic attack on Green Park Station last January.

Leban Ahmed, handed over a suspended prison sentence of 18 months before the attack, Was shouted on film when he went up and down the platform and tried to prevent two men from trying to grab him.

In a flurry of anger, the 27-year-old took out with his belt who tried to get on the train.

Mansoor Ahmed, 30, was imprisoned for 26 months last month and the registration of the sex offenders for a decade after he had sexually abused two women on the tube.

On September 6, 2020, Ahmed sexually attacked a woman who up the stairs at Gloucester Road Station and only a few months later on November 20 he attacked another woman who ran the stairs at Charing Cross.

Jaya Pathhak, who campaigned for more action against sexual harassment on the tube after she had been attacked last year, said MailOnline that the situation is getting 'worse'.

Mrs. Pathak, 27, was harassed by a man who was constantly playing at her for different stops, when 'pretended to be drunk' and let his head rest on her shoulder on a Victoria line train to Walthamstow last April.

“He tried to make it look like he nodded like an excuse to touch me, when I pushed him away, he laughed at it and started to start again,” said Mrs. Pathhak, who works in foreign policy.

She said that the man even gathered against her to get off the train on Blackhorse Road, the stop before she would step at the end of the line.

Since the station was the platform, she was almost empty in the terminus, she felt unsafe because there was no staff to stop when things became sour.

Mrs. Pathak has called to TFL to Emptier End-Line Stations as a deterrent for potential sexual predators, who may not act if someone else looks.

Homeless man BRWA Shorsh, 24, pushed an innocent stranger, Tadeusz Potoczek, on the tracks on Oxford Circus Underground Station just a few seconds before the train entered, in February 2024.

Mr. Potoczek had rushed home to take a flight and looked at the arrivals sign when he was attacked in what public prosecutor Sam Barker described as 'The Thing of Nightmares'.

The Kurdish migrant had claimed that he had focused the 60-year-old in 'revenge' after he thought that Mr Potoczek had given him a 'dirty look'. Fortunately, Mr. Potoczek, a postman, missed the electrified rail and was returned by a passer -by on the platform that brought himself to the rescue.

The driver had set up the emergency brake and his train was only four seconds away from beating the victim.

Shorsh, who, since the arrival in Great -Britain in 2019 in 2019, collected beliefs of abuse and indecent acts, had denied that he was trying to kill his victim and claimed that he did not know that a train was coming at the time.

In July last year that year he was found guilty of attempted murder by a jury on the inside of the London Crown Court after just 32 minutes of deliberations and he was imprisoned for life with a minimum duration of eight years.

A Jewish man who wore a Kippah suffered an exhibition of mean anti -Semitism on the northern line last March, when an evaporating passenger said, “Your religion kills Muslims.”

The victim filmed the argument, where the passenger said, “You did a lot … You wear the hat.”

The man, who shared the images with the campaign against anti -Semitism, accused the vaper of being anti -Semitic.

Everywhere in the underground, above -ground, DLR and Elizabeth line stations (excluding stations outside the London dishes), according to their data, 38,000 crimes were reported to the BTP in 2024.

This is the equivalent of 104 a day.

Data includes crimes committed on the stations themselves and those who were committed on trains, either at or arrive at that station.

Terminus stations can be over-represented in the figures of the on-train crime, because if the exact location is unknown, can be registered as at the end of the line.

After King's Cross St Pancras, the fourth dangerous tube stop Epping, Essex, the northeastern endpoint of the central line, is at a speed of 49.

Fifth is Upminster Bridge, East Londs, on the district line with a rate of 48.6.

The most important London terminals from Finsbury Park come in sixth and seventh with 46.1 (885 total crimes) and 36.5 (1,825 total crimes).

Different Elizabeth line stations outside the most important London tariff zones (1-9)-toplow (76 per 1m), Twyford (71), Burnham (62), lecture (60)-even higher percentages. We have excluded these stations and all outside the London rate zones from the ranking, although you can still see them on the map.

MailOnline analysis suggests that the most dangerous line on the TFL network is the lion's line of the above -ground, which runs between Euston and Watford Junction, at a speed of 28 per 1m passengers.

A total of 2,533 crimes were registered at stations on this line, which serves around 90 million people a year.

The next is the Victoria line with 26 per 1 m (11,700 total crimes) and the metropolitan with 20 per 1 m (7,000 in total).

The safest line in London is the Docklands Light Railway (DLR), with a crime percentage of 8.3 per million passengers, followed by the suffragette (8.7) and Jubilee (9.7).

These figures are calculated by combining the total crimes and footsteps for each station that operates each line and then use those numbers to calculate the speed per passengers of 1 million.

Since the figures do not state which part of a station or on which training an 'on-train' crime occurs, there are offenses at stations that serve multiple lines, counted to the total of each line it serves.

Siwan Hayward, Director of Security, Police and Enforcement of TFL, said: 'The general risk of experiencing crime on the London transport network is low. We are committed to working with the police to ensure that this remains the case and to ensure that anyone who travels in London can do this safely.

'Theft of personal property remains the most reported crime on our public transport networks, good for almost half of crime. Thieves focus on busy areas and our transport networks are no exception. A series of activities is underway to tackle this, including targeted activities, research and advice of crime prevention for customers.

'Working with the police, our priority is to protect our customers and staff against serious damage. There is a lot of efforts to tackle serious violence, sexual offenses and intimidation, theft and hate crime. As part of this we are encouraging and make it easier for customers and colleagues to report incidents so that action can be taken.

“We will continue to work closely with the police to ensure that our transport network remains a safe environment to work and travel.”
