One of Europe's most wanted drug kingpins, which once fake his own death, was murdered in Mexico in a suspected hit that is performed by a rival gang.
Marco Ebben, a 32-year-old convicted drug dealer who was once at the top of the 'most wanted fugitive' of Europol, was shot down this week and killed just outside Mexico City.
A reported picture of the Dutchman Ebben, who had long been connected to international drug trafficking, seems to show that he is in a parking lot in a luxury residential complex in Atizapán de Zaragoza between two large cars.
Although details about his death have not yet been officially released, it is believed that he was killed by a rival gang.
The prosecutors with a seven -year sentence in 2020 for smuggling 400 kg (881 LBS) cocaine in containers filled with pineapple between 2014 and 2015.
After being convicted in October 2020, he fled Europe in an attempt to hide.
