Emma Stevenson shared a before and after photo of her artificial Christmas tree on the Facebook group BARGAIN LOVERS Poundland, Home Bargains, B&M, Primark, The Range.

She revealed the secret to making her tree look fuller and almost fresh out of the box, and it was very affordable.

“If your tree is looking a bit sad and bare, I highly recommend using this one from Dunelm to shrub it out,” she said.

“I can’t see it on the tree at all (depending on your tree). I used four, but got closer to the bottom!”

She shared a photo of Dunelm’s natural green tinsel, which costs £2 for 2 metres.

Thousands of people were impressed by the simple and affordable hack.

“Omg, that’s such a good idea!!!!” one person commented.

“Ooo this could be good to expand our tree before we turn on the lights,” someone else wrote, tagging a friend.

A third person joked that they “needed 100” to make their market-bought Christmas tree look presentable.

Others described the hack as “brilliant” and said it would have saved them money if they had known about it sooner.

“Amazing,” another added. “I wanted to buy a new tree that looks a bit thin.

“I was shocked at the prices for Christmas trees, starting from £50, so thank you.”

According to the Dunelm website, their Bushy Green Tinsel is perfect for subtly beautifying rooms and decorating during the holidays.

It can be easily kept in pristine condition by wiping it with a soft cloth.

Is it too early for Christmas?

Some say it’s never too early for Christmas, and there are many reasons for that.

For example, decorating your home can improve your mood by releasing dopamine, the feel-good hormone in your brain.

If you’re an early riser, Christmas supply stores can help you prepare and reduce costs over several months.

You can also look for bargains during various shopping events, for example during the end of year sales or Black Friday.

One of the best things about the holidays is eating lots of delicious seasonal meals and treats – enjoying your favorite drinks and beverages.

Customers have given it a whopping 4.8 stars out of a possible 5 and written honest reviews.

They included one person who said they were desperate to buy more to gift friends, and another who used it to get creative with their mantle decor.

“Beautiful thick tinsel with matte finish,” said a third customer. “It matched my artificial tree really well, filling the gaps and hiding the lighting wires.

“Would also work great for garlands and wreaths.”
