Lush are giving away free bath bombs this week – how to get your hands on one
THIS Wednesday is World Kindness Day.
It is a day of the year when good deeds are highlighted and the positive power of kindness is praised around the world.
And to celebrate this day, Lush is giving away some of its mega-popular bath products bombs.
The sweet-smelling beauty favorites have been a permanent part of the high street brand since its launch in 1995.
And now every customer can pick up a ‘bear cuddly toy’ bomb this Wednesday.
The bear-shaped bath products are given out with every purchase in the store via the Lush appwhile supplies last.
Lush staff say the bubbly little friend is like a cuddle in a bath and you can treat yourself to a soothing bear bath.
Or, if you’re feeling super nice, you can pay the money forward and gift it to a loved one to spread the word a little Love.
There is no minimum price; with a purchase of any value, customers are eligible to receive a free Violet Bear or Candy Bear.
Both bath bombs are packed with moisturizing Illipe Butter sourced from a social company in Borneo that aims to protect and preserve the rainforest through sustainable sourcing, providing approximately 700 families with a fair income.
Each bear has a distinctive scent: one is scented with refreshing, spicy bergamot, the sun in a bottle oil and blackcurrant absolute, while the other has a more floral scent thanks to violet leaf and rose absolute.
Lush’s Pakistani Rose Absolute is produced from damask roses grown in Pakistan without pesticides, using permaculture techniques.
The bears are hand pressed at Lush’s bath bomb factory in Dorset.
Kasey Swithenbank, head of retail at Lush UK&I, said: “We’re excited to celebrate World Kindness Day by bringing a little extra joy to our customers when they pop to their local store to pick up their favorite Lush sweets.
“Kindness is at the heart of everything we do at Lush, and what better way to spread a little kindness than with a free bath bomb.
“This day reminds us all that small actions can make a very big difference.”
Meanwhile, Lush is launching a brand new store in Scotland.
The store is dedicated to the brand’s hit Snow Fairy products and opens in time for Christmas.
