A drunken father of two stood up while taking off, screamed abuse and burned the crew's control during a KLM flight from Amsterdam to Newcastle.
The behavior of Johnathon Rochford was so worrying that the captain was considering the aircraft back to the Netherlands, but instead he decided to give him a written warning known as a 'notification of non -compliance with air regulations'.
The 35-year-old showed his contempt at the warning by making a paper aircraft out of the notification and flying through the aisle, a court heard.
The Captain of the KLM flight contacted the police for those who landed and officers waited while the flight to Newcastle International Airport was hit.
Rochford, from Hartside View, in Pity Me, Durham, pleaded drunk on a plane and was fined £ 1,166
He must also pay a £ 466 victim allowance and a £ 85 victim allowance.

Mrs. Irving added: “It was reported that the suspect had occurred during the take off and was verbally aggressive for the crew and refused to follow their orders.”
The court heard that the police attended the runway when the flight landed and got on the plane after it came to a halt.
Mrs Irving said: “The officers were told that the suspect had come up while taking off and said:” Just close us and take us home. “
“He called the cabin crew control and said:” Why should I listen to you? . ' Because of his behavior, the captain has made the decision to give the defendant a notification in order not to comply with the air instructions.
“The defendant folded the message in a paper plane and threw it through the aisle of the plane.”
The court heard that the captain told the police that he had considered leading the flight back to Amsterdam, but had decided to continue the journey. Rochford was arrested at the airport and taken to a police station.
Magistrates were told that Rochford had stayed out of trouble since 2010 after he had set up his own company and his behavior had been 'out of character'. He was also extremely repentant, was a father and suffering from mental health problems.
