I’m 48 and have been fighting hair loss with 95p fruit, it’s longer and shinier than ever

A BEAUTY expert has revealed a cheap supermarket buy that will leave your hair thick and shiny.

Star Khechara, 48, has managed to reverse the aging of her hair and skin with simple methods – and she’s helping others do the same to her Hacker age platform.

Her latest revelation is how she managed to grow “lush, thick hair” even in perimenopause, thanks to a diet adjustment.

The anti-aging expert emphasizes that our skin and hair should be nourished internally, and not by applying expensive products.

And according to Star, this approach means that at the age of 48 she now has the “longest and thickest hair” of her life.

Star says, “You can prevent or at least slow hair thinning during perimenopause by eating a hormone-balancing, functional plant-based diet rich in phytoestrogens and phytochemicals.

“My hair almost reaches my bouncy bum and it has never been this long since I was a kid!!

“My hair often splits and breaks until I started nourishing it inside using my own Facelift Diet methods and now I have the longest bush I’ve ever had, despite being 48.”

She added: “I remember my mother cutting all her hair short at this age and telling me that ‘women over 40 can’t have long hair’. I say F*** THAT!”

And her big secret? Eat more fruit.

Star calls fruit “the underdog of food” because “there are things in fruit that aren’t even in vegetables.”

When it comes to hair in particular, the beauty pro says the humble mango is the key to growing your locks.

I tried two viral dupes for the Dyson airwrap – the £19.99 one was so easy to use and Revlon kept curls for ages

She told Fabulous: “Mango is the hair fruit! It’s super rich in pro-vitamin A (beta carotene), which is essential for building keratin, the strong hard protein that makes up hair.”

You can buy a full mango for just 95p in Tesco or Asda, making it a very cheap beauty hack.

And it doesn’t just help your hair, as Star added that vitamin A is also one of the best skin vitamins for healthy skin.

“Beta-carotene also softens the effects of sun damage on the skin,” she continued.

The Facelift Diet

Star is the pioneer of the Facelift diet.

“The Facelift Diet is essentially a fruit and plant-based anti-aging diet,” she explained to Fabulous earlier this year.

‘It’s about eating anti-aging foods in abundance.

“It’s not restrictive or counting calories or anything.

“Certain foods have rejuvenating properties and you can slow aging with your diet.”

And as she revealed her supermarket essential shopping list, she said: “It’s all about fruit.

“If you take anything away from this, eat more fruit.

“There are things in fruits that aren’t even in vegetables.

“It’s the underdog of food groups.”
