NEW DELHI: HDFC Bank, in association with The Times of Indiawill keep one Cyber ​​security summit to tackle the increasing cases of cyber fraud. The summit will be held at ITC Maurya in New Delhi on November 14, 2024.
This event marks the fifth year of HDFC Bank’s participation in International Fraud Awareness Week. The summit will bring together experts, policymakers and industry professionals to discuss cybersecurity, especially in the financial field.
“In today’s highly interconnected digital world, cybersecurity has become an absolute necessity. With the Cybersecurity Summit, our goal is to provide individuals and businesses with critical insights and strategies to effectively protect their digital presence so they can navigate the Internet safely and with confidence. ” says Puneet Gupt, COO of Times Internet.
“Creating awareness is essential to combat this growing threat. Awareness coupled with self-vigilance will help build robust safeguards against fraudulent schemes,” said Prashant Mehra, Group Head of Retail Portfolio Management and Fraud Control at HDFC Bank.
During the summit, HDFC Bank will announce a new system that will directly connect its systems to the Cyber ​​Crime Portal (1930). This makes it easier and faster for the bank to report cybercrime.
The summit also aims to educate individuals and businesses on protecting their digital information. HDFC Bank has been working towards increasing awareness about cybercrime through various initiatives. In the past financial year, she organized more than 17,000 workshops on cyber fraud awareness.
The bank has also launched campaigns like ‘Mooh Bandh Rakho’ and ‘Vigil Aunty’ to educate the public on identifying and avoiding online scams.
