NRL player is Kyle & Jackie O Radio star Cooper Johns admits that he is suffering from an irresistible urge to do something very illegal

NRL Radio Star Cooper Johns was the amazing confession that he has Kleptomania, a mental health disorder characterized by an irresistible urge to steal.

The 25 -year -old son of Newcastle Knights – legend Matty Johns – who played for Melbourne and Manly before he started his radio career at Kyle & Jackie O – opened about his psychological condition on the backstage with Cooper & Matty Johns Podcast.

“He is a hoarder,” Matty told Guest and former Footy star Joel Caine.

Cooper then explained that he has always had a problem to clear things he owns.

‘It is quite well documented [that I] Used to steal a lot, ‘well -known Cooper.

“Massive Klepto.”

Matty remembered that he took his son to the Triple M Radio Studios, wherever Cooper would steal from people.

“He once stolen ten dollars from Jamie Angel, the boss. From his desk, “said Matty.

Cooper then remembered the time he stole horny goat from another colleague.

“Do you remember that stuff?” said Cooper.

“I was like 12 and I just didn’t know what it was. I was of no use at that time – I wish I had it now, I could use it well these days. ‘

It is not the first time that Cooper has spoken about his condition, with the Footy Funny Man who reveals in 2023 on the Kyle & Jackie O shows how much he would steal from the building that Austereo houses, who sits out the program.

“I used to bring an empty backpack into Dad’s work when I was younger,” he said.

“Why was it empty?” Asked Kyle.

“Because I would steal things from the office, from the agencies and so,” Cooper replied.

“You little klepto,” said a shocked kyle.

Jackie o asked whether Cooper had ever stolen from them personally.

‘Yes. I don’t know if it was your agencies or not, “Cooper said, all laughing.

“I would steal a lot of things.”

Johns stopped the NRL at the beginning of 2024 after Stints with the Melbourne Storm and Manly Sea Eagles from 2020.

The former five-year-old, who is the son of Rugby League legend Matty Johns and cousin of Andrew Johns, then joined the Kyle and Jackie O-Show as a full-time radio producer.
