He currently lives with his partner and two young children in his partners’ family home in Portsmouth.

The cramped living conditions have, among other things, compromised his love of gaming, with his console having to compete for space with toys in a shared living and play space.

However, it turned out that video games were the secret to their escape.

To mark the launch of Call of Duty®: Black Ops 6, Call of Duty launched its £100,000 giveaway so gamers could purchase their very own ‘safehouse’, as seen in the film.

Reece was randomly drawn and selected from thousands of participants.

The £100,000 prize means the winner, Reece, can now take an important step towards buying his own Safehouse for himself and his family.

Speaking about how the award will change his life, Reece said: “When I got the call, I was upstairs with my newborn baby, and I didn’t think it was real.

“The £100,000 will help my family enormously.

“It’s a huge relief to get into the housing market and to have a deposit of that size to put down on a real place will be more than enough.

“My current living situation is that I currently live with my partner’s parent.

I own the smallest house in Britain – it’s only as wide as a Ford Focus, but housed a family of six and was almost destroyed for crazy reasons

“She is unfortunately disabled as she has had a stroke, so my partner is her full-time carer.

“If we move, we can move forward and help her get the care she needs.”

The prize money was calculated to cover the standard house price in the 1991 setting of the game, plus additional money to equip it, including legal and attorney fees.

Reece will also receive the latest gaming gear, including a brand new Xbox Series
